Click to expand.Fat32 partition should be at the beginning for maximum compatibility w/ homebrew in general, but isn't absolutely necessary (although a few apps may not see it if it's not). However, the partition definitely does not need to be under 32GB, nor does it need to be set to logical. Primary is perfectly fine (and possibly better. For example, some folks have trouble with MPlayer-CE seeing the logical partition I believe), as is a larger size. My FAT32 partition is 400GB, and everything sees it just fine.

QUOTE(srcorsario @ Jun 7 2009, 01:20 PM) QUOTE(Triumph @ Jun 6 2009, 07:57 PM) The nes, nses and other emulators support partitions on the USB Hard Drives? However, i had some problems in order the emulators recognice usb drive partition. I follow that steps: 1.Create a Fat32 partition at the begining of hard disk space (for instance wbts partition is the second partition xD) 2.Fat32 partition needs to be 'active' and 'logical' 3.I use a 'small' partition (29GB) in order not to have problems with 'supposed' max size for fat32 (32Gb) 4.Its said dvdx is needed Fat32 partition should be at the beginning for maximum compatibility w/ homebrew in general, but isn't absolutely necessary (although a few apps may not see it if it's not). A STM32 based floppy emulator hardware to flash. A PC under Windows connected to Internet. Any 3.3V serial connection to connect the Floppy Emulator hardware to the PC. UNetbootin allows you to create bootable Live USB drives for Ubuntu, Fedora, and other Linux. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. Or other modifications before they can boot from USB drives, so these ISO files will not work as-is.
My FAT32 partition is 400GB, and everything sees it just fine.
